I’ve been really interested in the dotting technique to show depth and details in sketches lately. I always avoided it in college because I used to think it could be done quickly and would rush it, leaving me with lots of little lines and eventually me binning the work. I was very mistaken, the dotting was the longest part of the sketch!
There’s something so satisfying about drawing dragons, too.. maybe it’s a Welsh thing?
